Guidelines for Full Papers

1. Final papers will be submitted via personal pages to be accessed with username and passwords.
2. Deadline for the full paper submission is August 15, 2006.
3. Full papers will be in English.
4. The submitted electronic files will be printed right after the submission deadline, for the hard copy publication of the proceedings.
5. Full papers shall not exceed 15 pages, including the abstract and the short bio of the author(s).
6. Paper size must be A4.
7. Page margins must be 3cm.
8. Line spacing must be single.
9. Font Face must be Times New Roman for the main texts.
10. Font Face must be Ariel ONLY for the titles.
11. Font Size must be 12 point for the main texts.
12. Font Size must be 14 point ONLY for the titles.
13. Please use APA style(surname of the author and year in parentheses) for citing references. Cited publications should be given in alphabetical order in the list of References.
14. Do NOT include HEADER or FOOTER.
15. Do NOT insert page numbers.
16. Cover page:
    1. Title of paper
    2. Full name of author(s)
    3. University/institution
    4. Country
    5. E-Mail address of the author(s)
17. First page:
    1. Short biography of the author(s) not exceeding 100 words for each author, to be published in the Symposium Proceedings Book. Please attach scanned photo(s) of authors as well.
    2. Revised abstract not more than 200 words.
18. After figures/tables, please use a short 10 point font description about their contents and center them with one blank line above and below each. Figures/tables must be numbered consecutively.

Media Day Activity

A media day will organized for the celebration of the 30^th Anniversary of the establishment of Anadolu University's Educational Television alongside the Symposium. The main goal of the Media Day is to bring practitioners, researchers, companies and customers of educational television programme together. Therefore, the institutions, companies or persons shall submit their educational television programmes for the sessions. The submission guidelines for media sessions are explained below:

Instructions

1. Specific Area: The product must be destined for one or more of the following specific areas of the Symposium.
   • Lifelong learning
   • Distance education
   • Online learning
   • Education
   • New communication technologies
2. Educational TV Programme Instructions: The submission must cover the below instructions:
   • The name of the educational television programme
   • The specific subject of the educational television programme
   • The production year (The television programme must be produced after 01.01.2000)
   • The director of the video
   • The maximum length of the television programme must be 30 minutes
   • English is preferred in educational materials. If the language is not English, English subtitles must be added to the materials.
3. The Recording Format: DVD, BETACAM or DVCAM are preferred formats.

Attention: The production must not contain subject matters that promote extreme violence, sexual natures and/or sexual mistreatments, and represent people in humiliating, offensive, biases and/or stereotypical approaches.
